The form quit is used in the present tense and is the past tense and past participle. quit 的過(guò)去式和過(guò)去分詞與原形相同。
1. 放棄,辭去(工作) If you quit your job, you choose to leave it.

4. 決定結(jié)束;就此了結(jié) If you say that you are going to call it quits, you mean that you have decided to stop doing something or being involved in something.
